Taking its cue from the 19th Century Black American Rosicrucian Paschal Beverly Randolph, the concept behind this 8 track cassette began as a collaboration with an unnamed ‘entity’ during 2020, serving as a means of communication between two individuals grappling with reality.
The subtle use of hand gestures and physical postures during accompanying video calls helped shape the evolution of sounds, resulting in an homage / re-enactment / study of one of the three key principles underpinning Randolph’s Mysteries of Eulis, namely Posism - the science of the gesture nourished by corresponding mental states.
